You know - for people who live in the Caribbean, we really don't go to the beach very often. It's a lot of sand and sand fleas and sand. Royce running away, London crying, and all the stuff we have to take. I can appreciate the ocean. It's beautiful - but it's just not much fun with little little kids. I would much rather go to a pool if I wanted to play in the water. Maybe as my family gets older my view on this will change.
Anyway we went back to Shipwreck on this trip. We went early in the morning and were the only ones there. It was awesome.
She's still reluctant to try out the sand.

Braving it out.
She got to the point that she would stand in the sand - but that was about it. They don't call them baby steps for nothing!
We had fun and the beach always wipes these kids out. With us leaving in a few months we really need to take more advantage of the beautiful sites here. Hopefully it wont be a "coulda, shoulda, woulda" when we look back.
