Christmas Morning!

Everthing is ready.  It was a modest little Christmas.  Perfect for small children.

Thank you grandparents for sending packages for us!

Wake up little one!

He wanted to play with every gift he opened.  We had to battle him to open the next one.  It was kind of funny.  Hot Wheel coloring book!

She took a long time to get through hers.  Hint - they're sippy cups. Shh...

A puppy we are dog sitting over break.  He loved the wrapping paper.

Grandma and Grandpa Handly sent a big time hit.  Large "Cars."  Especially Lightning McQueen.  He held that thing so lovingly for about 10 seconds before responding.  So sweet.

Did not want to let go.  We had a little struggle over opening the next gift.

She's got through the cups now onto the main event!  Hint - pillow pet - shhh...

Thank you Grandma Nancy!  He loved all the cars you sent. 

A car carrier parking lot page.  He has a tendency to be a little OCD with cars and wanting to line them up perfectly.  The parking lot is perfect for him.

Happy family.  We opened up Christmas Eve PJ shorts the night before.

Now we will find cars all over the house for the next several months!

So tired...

All 26 cars had to join us for breakfast plus some of his older ones.

That one was slightly out of place.  He lined these up 100% by himself.  Funny kid.  He has also been emotionally unavailable today.  He will not eat, he will not sleep, he would hardly even bathe until I told him his cars could come.  He loads them up in the dump truck, rolls in to the room of choice and begins lining up the cars.  If he needs to move rooms again then it's load up time again.  I cannot separate them!  He's a kid in love.

We had a wonderful holiday - even away from our families.  It was a wonderful time and really helps me appreciate my children's funny little quirks.  I love my family.
